Common Questions
Important details:
- All runners, walkers, and joggers are welcome.
- Settler’s Cabin Park will be closed to the public during the race.
- Please follow all traffic laws; the course will be clearly marked.
- The event is rain or shine. If weather conditions become unsafe, we’ll move on to the family fun activities.
- No bag check is available—plan accordingly and dress for the weather.
- Dogs and strollers are welcome with care. Keep pets close and under control at all times; they should not interact aggressively with others, especially children.
What is the distance?
A 5K is 3.1 miles.
What is the race route?
Where do I park?
Parking is available Settler’s Cabin Park right side parking lots and more parking available towards the entrance of the park.
Can I run or walk with my dog?
Yes, absolutely! Dogs are welcome as long as you take full responsibility for the safety of your pet throughout the entire duration of the event.
Can I get a refund if I register but don’t run?
No. However, if you have registered and do not run, you may pickup your packet before the race starts.
After that time you forfeit the packet, but thank you for your donation.
When does bib pick-up end on race day?
Alina’s Light 5K Walk and Run for Love bib pickup starts at 7:00 AM and ends at 8:30AM during our registration time.
Will the race be cancelled for any reason?
We cannot foresee any reason for the race to be canceled. However, if there are any changes whatsoever, we will notify everyone who has registered via email as well as on our social media pages.
