At Alina’s Light, our hearts are heavy as we confront the harsh reality of domestic violence— a scourge that knows no boundaries and can affect anyone, regardless of age, background, or community. Just days after a holiday centered around love and affection, we are reminded that for many, including Jaden Battista (the latest victim of domestic violence in Pennsylvania) domestic violence is REAL.

Jaden, a bright 19 year old resident of Bucks County Pennsylvania was murdered by her ex boyfriend on February 16. Her friends mentioned that her ex boyfriend was “Crazy in Love with Her” and allegedly was driven by jealousy even though they were no longer dating.
Domestic violence remains a devastating reality that can escalate with alarming speed and severity, leaving families and friends in a state of shock and loss.

At Alina’s Light, we stand in solidarity family and friends of Jaden and with all those who have been affected by this tragedy.
Our commitment is to educate, to advocate, and to offer our support in helping people in our communities stand together against domestic violence. We believe in the power of awareness and the critical importance of early intervention to prevent such needless suffering.
Together, we can work towards a future where no one has to endure the pain of domestic violence. Please educate yourself and those around you about early signs of domestic abuse and let us work towards a future where love does not hurt.
