A bright and beautiful young woman, who was getting ready to graduate from Western Illinois University and to welcome her much awaited daughter Ava into this world. Her boss took away her and her unborn baby’s lives in a fit of rage.

Alisha and Ava’s legacy is alive through charitable work and legislative amendment that takes away intoxication as an excuse for murder.
