And a huge thank you goes to Sasha Phillips, our front-line champion for Alina’s Law, who updated us on the fight for stronger protections for survivors. A fan favorite of the day: our vibrant raffle baskets! Thanks to everyone who contributed and participated— each ticket sold helps us fund programs and brings another moment of joy and connection to our event.
One of the most moving moments of the day: recognizing survivors right in the heart of the event. We had the privilege of presenting flowers to several courageous individuals, honoring their journeys, resilience, and strength in front of their families and our whole crowd. Their courage and presence are at the core of why we walk and run together each year.
We also want to spotlight all our vendors who made sure this year’s festivities were filled with excitement and fun—from delicious food trucks and ice cream to bounce houses, train rides, a petting zoo, and face painting. You helped create an atmosphere where families felt cared for and kids could simply be kids.
